Got a Message from Crew Surge?

You may receive a Crew Surge availability request because a contractor you work with is using Crew Surge to prepare for storm response.

What the request means

The message is an availability request from that contractor. It asks whether you can be included as they prepare a storm response. It is not an offer of employment, a dispatch order, a statement about compensation, or a guarantee of storm work.

The contractor decides who is contacted and how any reply is used. Crew Surge provides the request. It does not assign you to a job.

What information is being requested

The request asks for your availability so the contractor can understand who may be reached for the event they are preparing. Reply only with what the message asks for, and only if you recognize the contractor.

  • Whether you are available for the request described in the message.
  • Any other detail the contractor’s message specifically asks you to confirm.

How to open the request

Use the link in the message from the contractor, or the sign-in that contractor gave you. The Crew Surge sign-in is at webapp.crewsurge.com. Do not use a link from a sender you do not recognize.

Where to get help

Questions about the request, your availability, or what happens next go to the contractor who sent the message.
